We are seeking a junior-level QA Tester to support testing and quality assurance activities across the Claims & Money Movement portfolio in the Service Experience organization. The tester will validate end-to-end workflows, integrations, APIs, and application functionality across platforms such as Pega, custom Java/web applications, and AWS-based services.

This role is ideal for someone early in their QA career who wants to grow into QA automation engineering or Quality Lead roles and gain hands-on experience with enterprise systems supporting claims, payments, and servicing operations.

What You'll Do:

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing across claims and money movement applications.
  • Test workflow and rules-based platforms (e.g., Pega or similar BPM/workflow tools).
  • Validate APIs, backend services, and system integrations using Postman, Swagger, or equivalent tools.
  • Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
  • Perform smoke and sanity testing after deployments or environment updates.
  • Validate UI behavior, backend logic, and compliance with business rules.

Test Documentation & Execution

  • Create detailed test cases, scenarios, scripts, and test data for each sprint.
  • Align test coverage with acceptance criteria and technical design specifications.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements/user stories and test artifacts.
  • Execute test cycles across multiple environments (QA, UAT, Pre-Prod).

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

  • Participate in daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with developers, BAs, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to clarify requirements.
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and blockers promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams across the Claims & Money Movement portfolio.

Continuous Improvement & Learning

  • Learn foundational automation concepts and tools (Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, or similar).
  • Recommend improvements to test processes, coverage, and efficiency.
  • Expand understanding of system architecture, data flows, and integration patterns.
  • Gain experience in QA best practices, platform testing, and Agile engineering.

What You'll Bring:

  • 1–3 years of experience in software testing or QA roles.
  • Experience testing one or more of the following technology areas:
    • Workflow or BPM platforms (Pega)
    • Custom Java or web applications
    • REST/SOAP APIs or integration layers
    • AWS/cloud-hosted services
  • Ability to create test cases, execute test plans, and document defects.
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Postman, or similar.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Karate, JUnit, Cucumber, etc.).
  • Experience using SQL for data validation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or DevOps-based testing.
  • Understanding of enterprise servicing or claims processing environments.
  • QA certifications (ISTQB, etc.) or Agile certifications are a plus.
