About the role

Description

The University of Chicago’s Department of Public Health Sciences is searching for a senior collaborative biostatistician at the rank of associate professor on the School of Medicine track with expertise in causal inference and its applications in public health and clinical research.  The appointee is expected to play key roles in research programs that will produce significant contributions in the field. The appointee may also lead a research program and will be eligible for future consideration for tenure. Other duties will include teaching at the graduate and/or undergraduate level, supervision of students and trainees, and scholarly activity.  Compensation is dependent on qualifications.This position is benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must have: 1) a PhD or equivalent in biostatistics, statistics, or a closely related field; and 2) completed postdoctoral training in a related field.
