Job Duties: Manage portfolios comprised of physical and synthetic fixed income, equity, FX, funds, private markets and commodity exposures. Perform tasks including implementing multiple investment strategies, handling client flows, rebalancing, and risk/ performance decomposition. Ensure all mandates conform to performance expectations, investment guidelines, risk parameters, and regulatory requirements. Apply technology and analytical tools to improve processes and build scale. Work with analytics, risk, data, and other platform teams to drive operational improvements and contribute to overall systems/investment and trading process design. Participate in research related to portfolio construction, asset allocation, security selection, and other investment topics.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Management or a related field; and 24 months experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in Portfolio management (e.g. risk management, analytics, trading). Requires 24 months of experience involving the following: 1. Multiple markets, instruments, portfolio construction, investment research and process, exposure and risk measures, attribution, and other analytical skills; 2. Managing and rebalancing portfolios and hedging; 3. Utilizing quantitative investment research and optimization techniques; 4. Instruments such as ETFs and other fund vehicles, derivatives, FX, rates, equities or credit markets (options, IRS, CDS, etc.); 5. Python and other programmatic languages, Tableau and other visualization mediums, with an ability to structure robust and production-ready code.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $132,500 - $147,500. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
