<p><strong>LA28 does not provide relocation assistance for any positions.</strong> If you are based outside the Los Angeles area, we still welcome your application - we value talent from all geographic backgrounds and want to hear from you if you are able to work on-site in LA.</p> <h2><strong>Associate, Physical Security</strong></h2> <p><strong>Role Purpose</strong></p> <p>As an Associate on the Physical Security &amp; Systems team, you help keep LA28's people, guests, and workplaces safe while we establish the security operations behind the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Often the first point of contact at our facilities, you issue access badges, manage visitors, and help people move through our spaces with confidence. This hands-on, service-minded work rewards sound judgment and situational awareness, and helps shape the practices that keep a growing organization safe.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>· Provide access control and badging support for employees, keeping records and coordinating with building management and security.</li> <li>· Manage web-based visitor management systems so guests are pre-registered and access follows established security protocols.</li> <li>· Assist employees and guests with inquiries, access needs, and wayfinding, resolving issues professionally.</li> <li>· Maintain clear communication with employees, guests, hosts, security officers, and operations leadership for a seamless experience.</li> <li>· Monitor key areas, report suspicious behavior, and escalate urgent issues to protect guests and staff.</li> <li>· Stay calm during emergencies, following established protocols with lobby officers and LA28 Safety &amp; Security leadership.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>· A proactive, friendly, safety-minded approach and genuine enthusiasm for excellent service to employees and guests.</li> <li>· Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and composure, with strong attention to detail.</li> <li>· Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.</li> <li>· Experience with Microsoft Office tools.</li> <li>· Familiarity with access control systems, video management systems, and web-based visitor management systems is valued.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Valued Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>· Games experience supporting an Olympic, Paralympic, or major multi-sport event.</li> <li>· Venue experience in a stadium, arena, campus, or large venue environment.</li> <li>· Familiarity with emergency response or safety protocols in a high-traffic setting (suggested).</li>
