A career in our Tax Payroll Services practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.Our team helps organisations with evolving payroll legislation and provides specialist knowledge to keep our clients compliant and informed. You’ll support our clients with knowledge and experience of operating various payrolls and help deliver a smooth and efficient service that enhances the value we provide our clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly payroll and related reports including calculation of monthly personal income tax (“PIT”), social/health/unemployment insurance (“SHUI”) contribution and net take home, etc. based on the information provided by the clients;
- Preparation of monthly/ quarterly PIT returns, PIT finalisation, individual PIT returns as requested by the clients;
- Performing tasks related to the payment services (if any) including preparation of payments based on client's request and approval, releasing payments to the bank to make sure all payments are settled on time as sccheduled, preparation and sending fund request as well as follow up the fund status, preparing bank reconciliation on a monthly basis;
- Performing tasks in relation to the SHUI compliance including preparation and submission of the monthly reports to the SI agency, renewal of HI cards, SI book combination, processing claims for SI benefits, etc. as requested by the clients;
- Performing procedures in relation to the tax code registration and dependant registration for the clients’ employees based on the information provided and as requested by the clients;
- Preparation of statutory labour reports as requested by the clients;
- Draft responses to clients’ queries and advice as requested;
- Carrying out other tasks as assigned.
Job requirements:
· College or university degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or Finance and Accounting;
· 1 to 2-year working experience in C&B;
· Experience in dealing with relevant authorities (tax department, SI agency, DOLISA) is preferable;
· Good knowledge of labour law, PIT law, SHUI law and related regulations;
· Experience in PIT compliance requirements including the PIT calculation and preparation of PIT returns is preferable;
· Experience in SIHIUI compliance requirements including preparation of statutory reports, filing SI claims, etc. is preferable;
· Good at MS Office (Word, Excel);
· Careful and good attention to details;
· Good communication in both Vietnamese and English;
· Ability to work under tight deadline and handle multiple jobs concurrently.
