The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate/Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join our Argon ST team in Fairfax, VA.
The Argon ST team is exploiting advanced digital apertures to formulate a next generation common modular digital system for Communication, Information Operations (IO), and Electronic Warfare (EW) functions. This system demands a state-of-the-art RF, antenna array, signal processing, and advanced data distribution solution to provide dynamic RF services, low-latency digital data distribution and processing architecture for multiple functions. These mission functions bring a broad range of challenging performance requirements in instantaneous bandwidth, sensitivity, beamforming, and latency.
As the prime contractor Argon ST, A Boeing Company, has tremendous development opportunities for highly motivated problem solvers who would like to be a part of an innovative, diverse team of engineers. In developing a complex, ultra-high throughput SIGINT/Communications system, the Electrical/FPGA Engineer is expected to provide cutting edge VHDL processing solutions to advance our hardware system development through concept, design, modelling, analysis, implementation, and verification.
Position Responsibilities:
- Design, development and integration of Radio Frequency and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms in our digital processing systems.
- General responsibilities include requirements interpretation, algorithm design & modelling, physical & channel impairment simulations, algorithm analysis, algorithm implementation, and documentation.
- Responsible for producing algorithm subsystem analyses & modeling for technical interchanges with our customers.
- Work in a fast-paced collaborative environment developing cutting edge advanced signal processing solutions.
- Collaboration will include taking design input from system engineers and providing implementable models to both software and firmware engineers.
- Contribute to the implementation effort by both developing and supporting the test of the final solution.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
