Global Corporate Communications is a new group comprised of Public Relations, Enterprise/Internal/Employee Communications and Events. We are more than 20 people strong with lots of talent, energy, and enthusiasm. We cultivate a supportive team environment and never take ourselves so seriously that we can't enjoy a laugh together. We are proud to communicate all of the amazing things that happen at Dexcom to internal and external audiences. The Dexcom Global Events team is afforded the opportunity to showcase the best parts of Dexcom to the world.  From the largest international diabetes focused conferences and tradeshows to National Sales Meetings, we manage it from “A to Z”. 

Where you come in:

If you are organized and dynamic with experience in the events and trade show industry, we would love to have you join our global events team.

  • You have the ability to plan and execute virtual and live events; including but not limited to tradeshows, congresses, sales meetings, speaker programs, and webinars.
  • You have experience managing tradeshows while keeping a strategic mindset with sponsorship funding that will reinforce business priorities.
  • You can facilitate and execute booth development, onsite logistics and maintain a solution-oriented mindset.
  • You can negotiate contract terms that are favorable to the company with suppliers related to production, hospitality, logistics, food and beverage, creative services, supplies and other elements.
  • You can lead meetings and conference calls with cross-functional teams, be articulate in providing guidance, with an ability to make excellent decisions, define next steps, and understand how to prioritize.
  • You can support marketing and design teams with the of production resources to ensure high quality work with purpose and vision that aligns with the Dexcom brand.
  • You are always striving for improvement and enjoy keeping up to date on marketing and event technologies and event best practices.
  • You can analyze the event success and prepare reports and reconciliations in a timely manner.
  • You will work closely with legal, compliance and procurement teams for contract negotiations and execution.
  • You will manage the submission of event related creative documents to internal MLR (Medical, Legal & Regulatory) review and approval platform, Veeva Vault.

  • You possess strong communication and collaboration skills to enable smooth interactions between multiple parties (external and internal) that result in successful events.
  • You have experience with conventions, logistics, housing bureaus, and professional/medical organizations and societies is a plus.
  • You are able to discern the appropriate information that needs to be shared with specific stakeholders and partners, and communicate and deliver in a timely manner.
  • You are excited to roll-up your sleeves to deliver exceptional quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • You’re willing to be innovative and think outside of the box.
  • You’re a team player, with a strong attention to detail and good presentation skills.
  • You’re highly organized with a process-oriented mindset allowing you to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
