The Associate, IT/OT Data is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of data infrastructure and systems. This role involves working closely with data engineers, data scientists, business users and external partners to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.  The Associate will also assist in data integration, processing, and storage tasks, contributing to the overall data strategy and analytics efforts of the organization.

 

Role Responsibilities: 

• Data Infrastructure Support: Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of data systems, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines. Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of the data infrastructure
• Data Integration and Processing: Support data integration, processing, and storage tasks. Work with senior data engineers to manage data storage, processing, and integration technologies
• Data Governance and Compliance: Help establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance. Monitor and mitigate data-related risks
• Data Analytics and Insights: Contribute to efforts to harness data for actionable insights and business intelligence. Support the adoption of advanced analytics and machine learning technique
• Collaboration and Innovation: Partner with the business to identify and implement data-driven opportunities and initiatives. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

 

Job Requirements and Experiences:

• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, data science, operations research, or a related area, is required 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data management or related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in data management and analytics tools and technologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
