W2 Associate Infrastructure Technician 

Location: This role is fully onsite in our Colorado Springs, CO office - 3233 Janitell Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80906  

Onsite: Monday and Tuesday 6 AM - 6 PM MST and Wednesday 6 AM - 12 PM MST 

On call: Sunday 6 AM - 6 PM MST 

Duration: at least 4 months (Coverage for FMLA leave) 

Salary: $24/hr

As a W2 Associate Infrastructure Technician 

with Insight, we will count on you to be a part of a 24/7/365 coverage team with the primary function to provide 1st-tier onsite customers and technical support to customer requests within the Service Level Agreement time frame. This is NOT a remote position. 

  

  

As a W2 Associate Infrastructure Technician, you will get to: 

• Data Center Escort Services or Access Request - Welcoming and escorting pre-approved scheduled vendors or visitors to client’s data center. 

• Hardware Diagnostics - A physical hardware examination, to include the recording of any external error/status indicators which may help in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues more efficiently. 

• Cable Inspection and Replacement - Properly inspecting and replacing defective networking cables. 

• Power Cycling In the case of a frozen or hung device, power cycle refers to turning the device's power off and then on to get the device to function again. It is only with written approval from clients that the device can be power cycled.

We are looking for a W2 Associate Infrastructure Technician 

with: 

• High School degree or GED equivalent required. 

• Previous data center experience and/or network cabling experience a plus. 

• Reliable transportation is required to access multiple sites, with a limit of one site visit per day. 

• Any IT certification(s) are a plus.
