Associate, Graph Data Analyst

We're seeking a Graph Data Analyst to support graph based analytics and relationship modeling initiatives, contributing to data integration, analysis, and insight generation using a variety of platforms.
NFR Data & Analytics, a function in the Legal and Compliance Division, is responsible for designing and optimizing surveillance models, approaches, and tools using advanced analytical techniques like supervised and unsupervised machine learning, and evolving techniques like graph analytics. These surveillances and other tools help identify suspicious and/or illegal behaviors such as money laundering, market manipulation, insider trading, unfair sales or trading practices, and other financial crimes.

This role is within the NFR Data & Analytics team in the Legal & Compliance Division. The team partners with Financial Crime, Compliance, and Technology stakeholders to design and enable analytics solutions-such as graph based modeling-that support investigative workflows, pattern detection, and enterprise risk management efforts.
What you'll do in the role:
> Support the development and maintenance of graph based visual analytics capabilities that enable Financial Crime and AML stakeholders to conduct relationship based investigations
> Provide analytical and technical support for graph analytics platforms, including data ingestion, configuration, and execution of repeatable analytical workflows
> Enable relationship and network analysis by preparing, structuring, and validating datasets used to identify suspicious patterns, typologies, and risk indicators
> Partner with senior analysts and business stakeholders to translate Financial Crime and AML investigative needs into analytical views, visualizations, and supporting outputs
> Develop and maintain dashboards, visual assets, and analytical artifacts used by investigators and reviewers during case analysis and decision making
> Perform data quality, reconciliation, and validation checks to ensure analytical outputs used by stakeholders are accurate, reliable, and compliant with expectations
> Use SQL, graph query languages, and data wrangling techniques to support data integration, transformation, and basic automation that underpin investigative analytics
> Assist in triaging and resolving data issues or anomalies that impact stakeholders' ability to perform graph based analysis
> Document analytical logic, assumptions, and data limitations in a clear, audit ready manner to support transparency and regulatory review.
What you'll bring to the role?:
> Foundational experience in data analysis or data engineering, preferably supporting Financial Crime, AML, KYC, sanctions, or compliance related analytics
> Familiarity with entity relationship concepts, network analysis, or graph based thinking applied to investigative or risk use cases
> Working knowledge of SQL; exposure to Python for data analysis or scripting is a plus
> Strong attention to detail, particularly with respect to data quality, documentation, and control awareness in regulated environments
> Clear written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain analytical outputs to non technical audiences
> Demonstrated interest in Financial Crime risk, AML frameworks, and investigative analytics
> Willingness to learn new platforms, tools, and methodologies in a rapidly evolving analytics environment
> Typically, 3-4+ years of relevant experience would be expected to find the skills required for this role
> Experience with data product development and management.
> Strong communication skills, able to bridge technical data outputs and business decision-making.
> Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a large, complex organization.
