Job Description:
The Financial Operations Associate is responsible for managing media budgets through the collection of data and assessment across planning, buying, billing invoices within our Bill/Pay process.
The role will have day-to-day responsibility for supporting the account ensuring all deliverables, internal and Client facing, are executed according to plan and agreed timelines.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers and keen attention to detail.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Financial & Corporate Accounting:
Maintain monthly financial process and collaborate within the accounts evolved matrix of Bill/Pay process across internal and external stakeholders
Analyze and discuss reporting, questions related to billing, resolve variances in billed vs. approved authorized spend, and close out quarterly budgets based on client financial timelines
Creation of media estimates and maintenance of internal estimate listings
Provide timely and accurate information and reports to Account Leadership Team and to Client
Maintain financial operations systems and controls, policies and procedures
Assist with internal and external audits
Participate in vendor reconciliation statuses where applicable
Capable of managing multiple deliverables and ability to seamlessly transition among them
Client & Internal Relationships:
Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams
Ensure collaboration among all groups; fosters great teamwork
Keeps abreast of all billing and reporting issues and escalate discrepancies to managers
Inquisitive and solution-oriented when barriers present
Communication Skills:
Express oneself clear and concise both written and verbally
Organize ideas and information logically and sequentially
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree
1+ years’ work experience with hands on budget management experience (preferably within the media industry).
Proficiency in MS Office suite; proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel

Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
The annual salary range for this position is $39,000 - $42,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
