Description Overview
Join Perrigo as our Associate Director of PWS (Perrigo Work System) and take charge of revolutionizing our Nutrition Infant Formula manufacturing plants! Lead the way in implementing our proven work systems framework, elevating performance and setting new industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to act as an ambassador and guide for plant management and staff on the PWS journey. You will collect and coach best practices and standards around tools, processes, and cadences, to ensure our work systems are delivering improved outcomes and efficiencies on the production floor. Along with that you will be responsible improving overall Training and Development Program for the Network.
Supporting both batch and continuous manufacturing processes, this is a highly collaborative role acting as a motivation around score card management, accurate data collection, reviewing calculations and real time analysis. Training and PWS Managers and Leads will directly report to this role in the future. This role requires 50% travel to Plant sites to drive solutions to complex technical issues and affect change management.
Scope of the Role
- PWS for 3 plants (tools, teaching, processes, & pillar development etc.) along with accountability for implementation
- Responsible for Nutrition entire training program.
- Plans, manages, and implements activities and processes for network objectives, goals, strategies, and measures progress update.
- Provides direction and technical support for operations/training & production team to support the area of responsibility.
- Monitors “system” performance, maintains metrics, scorecards, and objectives, gathers, and analyzes data, and participates in Operation meetings.
- Manages operating activities and ensures products are manufactured/packaged on schedule and are within quality standards and cost objectives.
- Generally responsible for leading, supervising and/or mentoring one or more teams responsible for operations/training and production area
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Minimum eight years’ experience in Operations Production environment, using work systems
- Experience with data investigation and interpretations for use in continuous improvement
- Exposures to Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, work cells, and/or similar related processes
- Skilled in Microsoft applications, including strong Excel skills desired
- Strong communicator, with experience leading projects and/or teams
- Determined, upbeat personality who enjoys a role with a high level of collaboration
- Flexibility to occasionally visit three shifts in an operation
