Summary of Job Duties:

In support of Walton Career Connections, the Associate Director for Internships and will oversee the administration of undergraduate and graduate student internships including internships for credit. Administration of internships and experiential learning includes, but is not limited to, oversight of the application process for domestic and international internship courses, manage and lead the Internship preparatory courses, develop programs and workshops for internships, and correspondence with employers regarding internship expectations. The Associate Director will be responsible for working with the Career Consultants to track and manage data related to students participating in the internship experience and companies hiring students for internship opportunities. In coordination with the Senior Director for Career Services, the Associate Director will develop strategies to grow opportunities for students in diverse industries and locations, ensuring alignment with academic and career goals.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. This position will require office hours of 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, with in-person support of programming/events during office hours and occasionally nights and weekends.<
