Associate Director – Enhanced Analytics, Corporates

Fitch Ratings’ Corporate Enhanced Analytics team is currently seeking an Associate Director (AD) based out of our Chicago or New York offices.

Enhanced Analytics (EA) Corporates aims to prioritize, lead and execute global non-coverage analytical initiatives in the areas of criteria, research, enhanced analytics, models and other non-operational functions. EA also aims to share knowledge and expertise by identifying best analytical practices that can be leveraged firm-wide. EA is seeking an additional team member to participate in special projects to support the implementation of risk-based review initiatives within the global Corporate analytical team.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Corporate rating model – Support the development of a Corporate rating model through participation in criteria and tool development in collaboration with senior analytical team members, EA colleagues, the model development team and criteria officers.
  • Identify business requirements – Through discussions with the global analytical group, identify and document building blocks for the Corporate sector to implement risk-based reviews.
  • Implement solutions – Act as designated Corporate analyst stakeholder in discussions with various product owners to refine business cases, ideate solutions, and test risk-based review related enhancements.
  • Other responsibilities – May include updating Corporate analytical best practices in response to Corporate-specific or Fitch-wide initiatives.

What You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree with successful completion of business-related coursework.
  • 5+ years relevant experience, which must include some Corporate credit analysis experience.
  • Keen interest in understanding how technology and automation can support the analytical process.
