About the role

The Role:

At Moderna, our mission is to deliver the greatest possible impact to people through mRNA medicines. Our focus is to use our mRNA platform and the infrastructure we have built to deliver a new generation of transformative medicines for patients.

Moderna is seeking trailblazers for our 18-month MBA Accelerator Program.  This program is designed to be an immersive experience into Moderna and to prepare you to be future enterprise leaders! Through this program, you will be hired as an Associate Director in CMC and have a hand in tackling some of Moderna’s exciting, business-critical challenges through your role.

This is not a rigid rotational program – we are breaking the mold and expect our MBA Accelerator participants to behave like owners as they go through the program, continually engaging in the design of both their own journey and the program at-large. MBA Accelerator participants will problem-solve their own path to leadership growth through the work they do tackling critical challenges amidst Moderna’s fast-paced environment. To support their growth, however, MBA Accelerator participants will take part in a curated set of differentiated and Moderna-specific development experiences and be embedded in a wide network of support relationships that includes everyone from cohort peers to Moderna’s leadership team.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

As an Associate Director in the Moderna MBA Accelerator Program, you will gain deep experience in how Moderna executes its strategic initiatives and addresses business-critical challenges. • 4+ years experience pre-MBA in healthcare consulting, pharma, biotech, or relevant field

  • Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply data-driven insights to inform decision-making

  • Demonstrated leadership experience and a track record of driving results amid ambiguity in previous roles

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and across global teams to drive results

  • Demonstrated success working in a matrix environment and establishing “high trust” relationships with cross-functional colleagues

  • Intense curiosity and ambition to excel and build something from the ground up, navigating all the requisite ambiguity and complexity that comes with writing the playbook and executing in real time.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, collaborative and influencing skills across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Previous engagement in strategic planning, digital transformation, or commercialization efforts within the healthcare or life sciences industry

  • A desire to make an impact as part of a high-growth, transformational company that is Bold, Relentless, Curious, and Collaborative.
