Associate Creative Director, Copy

About The Role:

We are looking for a Associate Creative Director, Copy to join our in-house creative

services group. You have, and an interest in pop, gaming and anime culture.

You will join a vibrant internal creative team supported by insights-driven strategists and data analysts -- and is ideal for someone of both in-house and agency life. You will develop the Crunchyroll brand voice and reviewing and editing copy from a team of writers. You will report into the Creative Director of the Conceptual team. This a hybrid remote/ in-office role based in our Culver City office.

About You:

● Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, advertising, communications, or relevant field

● 10+ years of professional copywriting/ copy editing experience

● Experience developing copy for products, marketing, or PR

● Ability to create a creative copy vision, defining voice and tone for a brand

● Have an interest in anime, pop culture, animation, video games and tech

● Familiarity with the localization process

 

A day in the life of our ACD Copywriter:

● Review and edit external-facing copy from a team of writers across all touch points of the

brand, including digital ads, emails, push notifications, live events, and other external

● Help hone the Crunchyroll Brand Voice guidelines

● Ensure consistency with brand voice and tone guidelines across multiple channels

● Collaborate with marketing, design, events, and audience development to create

compelling copy across all marketing channels

● Define and maintain the voices and tone guidelines of the Crunchyroll brand for

Market material

● Support creative campaign planning

The salary pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay will vary based on factors including (but not limited to) location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll's Total Rewards offerings for employees.
