Position Summary

This position will support the Corporate Accounts goals to achieve key business and financial objectives through assisting in strategic contract and RFI/RFP proposal development and maintenance for designated corporate customers. The ideal candidate will have a wide base of business and administrative competencies, knowledge and awareness that allow for a flexible and adaptive approach and is a positive and flexible self-starter committed to providing superior service in a fast-paced environment.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Ensure compliance to all Teleflex corporate, legal, and department policies and procedures
•    Analyzes, coordinates, assimilates and manages the timely completion of pertinent documents required for customer Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotes (RFQ)s, Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and other customer proposal requests, as necessary
•    Support the maintenance of a central repository for all documentation related to contracts, and ensure it is complete and up to date in SharePoint/Teams/Teleflex servers, as applicable, to record and store work output, written approvals, and other contract related documents
•    Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple departments and provide professional guidance regarding customer proposals and contracts
•    Supports the maintenance of centralized databases containing key elements of Teleflex proposal responses, to ensure consistency and streamline proposal submission timeframes
•    Assist in filing of signed agreements, keyword or key clause tagging, updating contract reporting databases, and audit responses, as requested
•    Generate and distribute spreadsheet contract change requests and/or notifications
•    Provide research and information sourcing support on contractual terms and conditions analysis or trending requests
•    Reviews contractual agreements for signature and issues documents for electronic signature as directed
•    Assist with Corporate Contract response on internal business projects as directed
•    Additional duties as required by Corporate Contract Management
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    College degree required. A combination of some college and relevant experience would also be considered. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Marketing, or related field is preferred
•    1+ years of sales support, capture, proposal or contracting experience in a medical manufacturing environment is preferred
•    Paralegal or other direct experience in drafting, reviewing and editing legal documents experience is preferred
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
•    Ability to work independently and display proactive entrepreneurial initiative in completing tasks.
•    Must possess strategic analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to find creative solutions and recommend effective courses of action
•    Effectively manage multiple priorities/projects to meet deadlines
•    Drive for continuous improvement and enhanced results. 
•    Highly organized and detail oriented
•    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

•    Ability to travel as needed (up to 10% travel)
