Job Summary

The Corporate Citizenship Associate supports the development and execution of the company’s social impact, operational sustainability, and community engagement initiatives. This role plays a key part in advancing the company’s commitment to responsible business practices, stakeholder engagement, and positive social and environmental efforts

Primary Responsibilities

Key responsibilities and objectives for this position are:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate citizenship programs, including employee volunteerism, philanthropic giving, and operational sustainability efforts.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., HR, Marketing, Legal, DEI) to align citizenship initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Conduct research on social impact and operational sustainability trends, nonprofit partners, and best practices to inform program development.
  • Help manage relationships with nonprofit organizations, community stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Draft communications, reports, and presentations to share impact stories with internal and external audiences.
  • Maintain databases and tools for tracking donations, volunteer hours, and program participation.
  • Support event planning and logistics for community engagement activities and campaigns.
  • Bring creativity and innovation to program design and storytelling, helping to elevate the visibility and impact of corporate citizenship efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in event management, corporate social responsibility, nonprofit management, or a related area.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Passion for social impact, sustainability, and community engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with impact tracking tools or CRM systems is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 25 pounds as part of routine job duties; must be comfortable with physical tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed to support operational demands or special projects.
  • Familiarity with ESG frameworks and reporting standards (e.g., ISO 14001, GRI, SASB, UN SDGs) preferred.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners preferred.
  • Creative problem-solving and a proactive mindset.
