If you are an Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you with our Power and Water Solutions team in Pittsburgh, PA! You will be a part of the Thermal Power Projects group which provides fully engineered control system solutions for power plants in North America. The group focuses on the replacement of existing plant control systems with Ovation and provides all project management, engineering design, system integration, test, and commissioning services to deliver comprehensive solutions to our customers.
We will offer you hands-on work experience and on the job training supported by senior engineers and mentorship.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Be part of a collaborative and innovative team passionate about solving complex problems
Learn our project process and products to meet our customer demands
Immediately contribute to application design and engineering execution of projects
Participate in diverse and global teams on process improvement initiatives
Be given opportunities to build and develop your technical capabilities
Collaborate and provide technical leadership to A/E firms and customers to help identify key solutions to customer concerns
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
0-2 years of related experience in an engineering environment
Ability to travel up to 20% in North America
Legal authorization to work in the United States -sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering
Experience with designing or programming controls for a PLC or DCS application in the power industry
