Associate Business Development Representative

About the Role

As Associate Business Development Representative, you will own engaging prospects and acquiring new business through a primarily Outbound Sales motion. In particular you will track funnel performance and iterate on optimal pitch and lead sourcing strategies to deliver qualified leads to a Senior Sales rep.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Drive Outbound Sales effort (cold calls, emails) to target a specific customer profile, heavy on LTL Freight, willing to outsource logistics.
• Build a pipeline of opportunities, leveraging tools such as Zoominfo, LinkedIn, or any other creative way.
• Facilitate sales meetings with executives/owners of businesses to determine transportation needs, and highlighting the value of partnering with Uber Freight for analytical insights and cost savings opportunities.
• Partner with other Sales representatives, Solution Engineering and Account Management teams for optimal customer onboarding and experience.
• Hand-off qualified leads to Senior Sales representatives

Basic Qualifications

• Freight/logistics experience
• Minimal experience with outbound sales 
• Strong communication skills
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and/or Google Tools
• Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Groove, LinkedIn Sales Navigator 
• Self-starter
