Associate Business Development Manager

Position Summary: 

This position will be responsible for conducting inside sales for ABM within the Manufacturing and Distribution group. 

Essential Functions: 

• Cold call prospective customers.
• Enter data for prospects identified in Salesforce.  
• Research target prospects, competition, and industry verticals.
• Strategically manage identified prospects alongside the Sr Business Development Managers.
• Shadow active representatives in the field as requested. 
• Attend trade shows, conventions, and networking events regionally. 
• Ability to travel as needed regionally. 

Required Qualifications: 

Education: 

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

Experience: 

• 0 - 2 years of experience, including sales development, lead generation, or inside sales.
• Attend trade shows, conventions, and networking events regionally. 

Other:

• Demonstrated record of success cold calling prospects.
• Technical knowledge in the Manufacturing and Distribution industry is a plus. 
• Must be self-disciplined, results driven, and a high performer. 
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn (or similar CRM).

Pay:  $65,000 - $70,000
