Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Special Program Accounting team in Chantilly, VA. As a member of our team you will be collaborating with multiple functions across the entire organization not only to ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting activities but also to identify opportunities to further streamline and improve current processes.
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs recurring and non-recurring bookkeeping activities for the collection, processing, recording and distribution of financial data
- Responds to moderately complex customer inquiries related to financial transactions requiring explanation or interpretation
- Performs other duties to support financial activities using knowledge of established guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Works under limited supervision
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience in a Finance, Accounting, Business or related role
- Proficiency and experience Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
- Ability to obtain a Full Scope and/or a Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph
- Experience in accounts payable
- Experience with SAP, Cognos and Enterprise Analysis System (EAS)
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
Relocation:

Summary pay range: $49,300 - $66.700
