PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT 

 

The purpose for this position is to perform warehouse functions to receive, store, package and ship vegetable/flower products. 

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

 

Order picking and packing 

 

Assemble Less Than Truck Load orders from start to finish 

 

Label and package vegetable seed 

 

Set up and assemble vegetable seed assortments 

 

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS 

 

Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse 

 

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct andCorporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOTpolicies and procedures, as they apply. 

 

Performs all other duties as assigned. 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS 

 

Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 1 or more years of warehouse/retail related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of basic business principals of inventory management, technology and mechanics. 

 

Demonstrates essential abilities including basic math skills, business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. 

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. 

 

May be required to work hours other than those considered “normal” to meet seasonal demands. 

 

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position
