What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...

• Assist Program Director in the recruitment, selection and orientation and evaluation of new employees 

• Assist Program Director in planning and facilitating regular staff meetings, in-service training and ongoing evaluation of the educational needs of staff and volunteers 

• Assist Program Director in assuring compliance with licensing, reporting and funding regulations as well as the fiscal administration of the program, including billing and required financial reports 

• Assist in program development and implementation of continuous Quality Improvement activities, inclusive of policies, procedure, and program outcome measurements and program evaluation 

• Assist the Program Director in the timely completion of reports/forms required by licensing and funding agencies, and programmatic requirements

• Assures appropriate, timely screening and admission of youth into the program

• Maintain effective working relationships with referral sources, community members, donors, volunteers, colleagues, supervisor, employees, and other agency programs 

• Understand original program contract or proposal and oversee all programmatic functions  

• Assist in the day to day management of the facility to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients and staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required or four years experience in applicable positions; Master’s degree in Human Services field preferred

• 2 years experience in a human services with youth in a residential setting 

• Supervision of staff and management; strong interpersonal, fiscal and leadership skills required 

• Computer skills required 

• Able to learn, participate and be CPI certified in physical restraints and de-escalation  techniques 

• Able to learn and be certified in CPR/First Aid 

• MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification 

• Valid MA driver’s license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance 

• Acceptable CORI, SORI and DEEC background record check including fingerprinting
