Assistant Team Leader - Paint-Bonduel

We are looking for our next dynamic Assistant Team Leader. Could it be you?

KI's Manufacturing Plant in Bonduel is looking for an Assistant Team Leader for our Paint Department.

This individual must be able to effectively:
• Assist TL in completing orders on-time; point person for assigned areas to maintain production
• Backfill TL while out
• Successfully meet all cell based measures; involvement in continuous improvement efforts
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers
• Know how to read shop orders and open orders utilizing BPCS
• Good hand/eye coordination; above average attention to detail
• Ability to work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day/5 days per week.
• Must pay attention to quality, safety and detail work at a continuous pace
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• This position remains a hands-on production position.

Our Assistant Team Leader positions are “hands on” and report to our Lean Production Manager. The Assistant Team Leader must be able to promote, understand and be able to calculate and communicate all goals set for department regarding safety, quality and production.

This is a first shift position. Hours are primarily 5a-2p with overtime and weekends required during peak production (summer months).

Qualified candidates will be highly motivated, inquisitive and adept at problem solving. Successful candidates will be comfortable training others, using BPCS, and Microsoft Office. A successful candidate must have the ability to lead, delegate, communicate, and participate in lean projects. Previous training experience is preferred. Training will be provided. Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred. Successful completion of a drug screen will be required.
