Job Description:

The Clinical Programs Coordinator III functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team organized to provide and coordinate services for victims of child abuse and neglect and their families.  Member will act in a supervisory role with regard to case work quality and to ensure contract standards are met. The incumbent is headquartered in the Child Protection Team (CPT) offices in Gainesville, Florida. WORKING TITLE: Assistant Team Coordinator.

• Oversee patient services and administrative activities for a multidisciplinary outpatient clinical operation focused on child abuse and neglect evaluations, under the guidance of the Assistant Director.
• Travel to satellite offices 2–3 times weekly to ensure staff coverage and supervision.
• Support the training and onboarding of new clinical case management staff; provide ongoing training and participate in interviews.
• Guide staff on client scheduling to ensure timely and appropriate service delivery.
• Act as liaison to partner agencies and assist with daily team operations in collaboration with the Assistant Director and/or Medical Director.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays; provide direct services and complete documentation when needed.
• Conduct interviews with children and families, accompany them through intake, medical exams, and follow-up, and complete assessments and reports.
• Coordinate and lead team staffings, referrals, and community trainings; attend court proceedings and multidisciplinary meetings across the UF CPT catchment area.
• Supervise casework, review reports, maintain records, and track services and caseloads to ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Contribute to strategic planning and leadership meetings with the Assistant Director, Medical Director, and Financial Manager.

Note: Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Participate in on-call rotation for nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Expected Salary:

$65,000-$76,000 annually

Required Qualifications:

• Twenty (20) hours continuing education per year during employment in this job.
• Valid Florida drivers license [and reliable transportation].

Preferred:

EDUCATION & TRAINING:

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Master of Arts (MA) degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or another behavioral science.

EXPERIENCE:

• Prefer a minimum of 8 years of Child Protection Team experience.
• Prefer a minimum of 8 years in the field of child abuse and neglect.

KNOWLEDGE:

• Knowledge of national, state, and local community resources available for abuse and neglect as health care issues.

SKILLS:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• College-level/excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
