Assistant Property Manager

Join our team as an Assistant Property Manager for Affordable Housing!

In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing daily operations at our affordable housing properties. Your typical day will involve overseeing tenant relations, assisting with lease agreements, maintaining property standards, and ensuring compliance with HUD regulations. You will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure a welcoming environment for all tenants while addressing any challenges that arise with patience and professionalism.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an assistant manager at a HUD/Project-based Section 8 property
• Ability to effectively handle difficult tenant situations with empathy and tact
• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

• Knowledge of applicable housing regulations and compliance standards
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
