Assistant Property Manager (Bakersfield)

GSF Properties Inc. is looking for an Assistant Manager in Bakersfield, CA, come join a dynamic property management team!

In this role, you will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure exceptional service for residents, efficient office administration, and smooth property operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both administrative and resident-facing responsibilities.

This position is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8am-5pm, and Saturdays 10am-2pm. The pay rate for this position is $20.00-21.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with your Manager to facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing: touring with prospective residents, processing applications, and negotiating lease renewals.
• Show off our community by prioritizing curb appeal and maintaining accurate and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the property and market.
• Support maintenance operations by partnering with your Maintenance team to provide a sparkling product through preventive maintenance, timely and efficient repairs, and a highly organized make-ready process.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Respond timely to resident issues and complaints promoting positive resident relations.
• Act as Property Manager in absence of the Manager when needed.

Job Requirements for Assistant Manager:

• Must have 1 year of relevant experience
• Leasing expert
• Excellent customer service skills
• Highly organized and great with follow-up and communication
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Able to work M, T, TH, F 8am-5pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm= 36 hours per week
