Job Summary

The Assistant Project Manager - Utilities ensures all client requirements are met and maintains proactive communications with all involved parties to move projects to construction.

                                                     

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Manage assigned projects from proposed real estate agreement through field completion
Primary point of contact for pre-construction requirements in assigned region
Process all project paperwork within 24 business hours and continuously update project management system
Coordinate scheduling of all projects with flagging and project owner
Manage scheduling of all projects, including determination of schedule availability for flagging, observation, and escalated needs
Serve as secondary contact for railroad real estate departments and build relationships
Monitor and track pending projects, potential termination agreements, illegal installations, and related documentation
Schedule and coordinate flagging and observing activities/approvals, meeting and call agendas, and tentative project start dates
QA/QC: Work Plan releases, Railroad agreements, and RailPros agreements
Track and notify all team members and flagging of job completion and changes
Complete project follow up for status changes once every 45 days or as required by railroad  
Other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Knowledge of railroad real estate agreements

 

 

Required Education and Experience

3 years of utility or railroad real estate experience

 

 

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree
