Our recovery support team plays a vital role in helping individuals achieve and maintain sobriety and stability. We are currently seeking an Assistant Program Director to support our team and ensure high standards of care and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor Recovery Support Specialists (RSS), including oversight of daily activities and professional conduct.
  • Maintain and manage shift schedules, time, and attendance.
  • Conduct regular safety checks, monitor patient activity, and complete related documentation (e.g., logbooks, incident reports, shift summaries).
  • Lead by example in upholding recovery-focused values and professional standards.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with the Program Director to provide 24/7 leadership coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Lead and coordinate community meetings with patients and staff.
  • Facilitate communication with interdisciplinary teams (e.g., admissions, nursing).
  • Assist with patient admissions and discharges, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Contribute to the hiring, onboarding, training, and retention of RSS team members.
  • Provide consistent supervision, feedback, and support to RSS staff.
  • Promote and model principles of 12-Step recovery programs.

Qualifications:

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Associate degree or higher
  • Certifications: CADC, CRADC, or eligibility preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral health and/or addiction treatment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
