Assistant Professor of Management

Job Description:

The Grenon School of Business Graduate Business Programs and the Department of Management and International Business seek a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management, beginning August 2025. A Ph.D. or DBA is required, preferably in management, organizational behavior, or other related disciplines. This position will teach graduate and undergraduate courses in areas such as organizational management and leadership. The ideal candidate will also have experience business analytics and decision-making courses. Candidates should be committed to teaching excellence in a liberal arts undergraduate setting in face-to-face classes, as well as in an online or blended graduate-level setting. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of or the potential for scholarship and publication, particularly in a rigorous practitioner-scholarship model aimed at producing actionable knowledge for managers. 

Requirements:

* Doctorate is required, Ph.D. or DBA preferred, from a regionally accredited institution, preferably in management, organizational theory, or other related organizational disciplines.

* Face-to-face undergraduate teaching in the management or related discipline, as well as online or blended graduate teaching in management, leadership or related disciplines.

* Demonstrated track record of or potential for scholarship and publication, particularly in a practitioner-scholar model aimed at producing actionable knowledge for managers.

* Must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the University as well as show respect for the Catholic and Assumptionist identity of Assumption University.
