Department Overview
Oregon Health and Sciences University seeks applicants for a full-time Assistant Professor of Radiology position at our facility in Portland, Oregon. The appointee will provide instruction, including lectures, to medical students, residents, and fellows in training, in the incumbent’s area of expertise.
Function/Duties of Position
- Active involvement in the educational activities of the department is expected, including the Radiology residency and the Cardiothoracic fellowship program.
- Clinical responsibilities include interpretation of all aspects of thoracic (CT/MR and radiographs) and cardiac imaging (CT and MR); as well as thoracic biopsies/aspirations.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: MD or Foreign Equivalent. Oregon Medical License. Successful completion of the ABR Core Exam. ECFMG certificate (for foreign medical graduates) ACGME-accredited residency in Radiology. Foreign medical graduates eligible provided completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or otherwise board eligible through the ABR IMG Alternate Pathway program.
