About the role
- Assist Plant Manager in managing plant operations to guarantee food safety and quality.
- Verify proper training for all key operations employees.
- Participate in preparation of audits to include annual third party, USDA, and customers.
- Assist in answering, correcting, and preventing customer product complaints when needed.
- Support Quality Assurance, Food Safety, and Quality Systems.
- Comply with all company and safety policies, practices, and procedures.

- Bachelor Degree in Poultry Science, Business Management, Animal Science, or other closely related field of study (relevant experience may be considered as a substitute for education)
- Experience in process improvement initiatives
- Excellent organizational skills
- USDA regulatory knowledge and experience
- Advanced HACCP training and experience
- Proven management skills in production operations within the food industry
- Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills
