- We are a fully remote organization with team members in over 20 states within the US. Work from the comfort of your home, a local coffee shop, or wherever in the U.S. brings you joy! However, please note that you MUST live in one of the following states to be considered for this role:

- The salary range for this position is: $62,000 to $65,000 based upon experience.
The impact of this role
AMA’s phenomenal Professional Chapters are comprised of marketing practitioners at all stages of their careers. This role is responsible for strengthening chapter engagement, supporting volunteer leadership, overseeing chapter operations, and fostering collaboration between AMA staff and Professional Chapters. This role will maintain the relationship between AMA and its Professional Chapters and its leadership by overseeing chapter operations, supporting volunteer leaders, organizing community-driven events, and cultivating a “sense of place” amongst our community of marketers.
What you’ll be doing
- Chapter Operations + Support
- Monitors and supports the overall health and operations of the AMA’s Professional Chapters, ensuring volunteer leaders have the information and resources needed to serve their local communities in alignment with the AMA’s mission and vision and in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
- Serves as the first point of contact for Professional Chapter leaders by providing timely assistance, resolving operational issues, and connecting volunteers with appropriate AMA resources.
- Creates and maintains chapter communications, newsletters, training materials, operational guides, and other resources that enable volunteer leaders to successfully fulfill their roles.
- Manages the Chapter Excellence Awards (CEA) and Ric Sweeney Chapter Volunteer of the Year Award in partnership with PCC representatives, including maintaining award processes, developing communications, coordinating submissions and judging, analyzing results, and managing recognition activities.
- Supports PCC meeting planning and special events, including scheduling, logistics, accommodations, meeting materials, note-taking, and follow-up communications with guidance from the Senior Director, Membership.
