Job Description

We are currently seeking an organized and responsible assistant Electrical and HVAC maintenance manager to manage the maintenance groups. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of mechanical and electrical work, including excellent leadership and supervisory skills. You will direct and oversee all daily maintenance activities including delegation of tasks, tracking work order and corrective repair performance while focusing on vendor related scope.  The assistant manager is to ensure that jobs are completed efficiently and within regulatory guidelines and projected deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing planned and corrective work orders in Maximo
  • Assist management in coordinating technician schedules and all other operations related tasks
  • Oversee the proper maintenance of equipment
  • Maintain the facility with an emphasis on HVAC and Electrical
  • Work cross functionally with all levels of the organization and departments to support new product development projects and daily operations
  • Coach and develop trade technicians with continuous improvement methodologies to trouble-shoot processes and equipment
  • Develop, implement, and monitor a Preventative Maintenance Program to maximize equipment life and operational efficiency according to manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Monitor cost effective management of parts’ inventory
  • Prepare monthly & weekly maintenance reports.
  • Elaborate on strategies and partnerships to reduce maintenance expenses
  • Partner with contract vendors and contractors to obtain the best level of service for the organization

This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite. Qualifications

  • More than 1 year experience in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects, contractors, and preventative and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Experience working with CMMS systems preferred. (Maximo, etc.)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical and electrical fundamentals and applications
