Assistant Estimator - Construction

KOMAN Holdings has a lucrative career opportunity for an entry level Estimator with interest in the Construction Industry.

The Assistant Estimator collaborates with Estimators and Project Managers to deliver precise and detailed estimates in a timely manner.

What will I do?

• creation and tracking of estimating job folders in the system
• Set up plans in Onscreen Takeoff
• Vendor comparisons of plant quotes
• Contact subcontractors to request proposals and other details
• Provide assistance to the estimators during quoting process
• Provide assistance to the estimators during takeoff process
• Attend Estimating meetings as required

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans.
• Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office products
• strong verbal and written communication
