Summary of Job Duties:

This individual will be responsible for assisting the dosimetry team in a variety of areas. Some of the responsibilities will include preparing patients plans for quality assurance test, printing approved plans, and cutting electron blocks.
Communicating with the radiation oncologists, radiation therapist, physicists, and other department leads. Serves as liaison between dosimetry, physics, physicians, simulation therapists, staff therapists and other sections within the departments. Some of the leads other responsibilities will include: assigning workloads to optimize productivity, developing policies and procedures, and mentoring new graduates and new hires. Also responsible for providing physicians and therapists with treatment planning, calculations, quality assurance planning, constructing custom blocks as needed for patient treatment, taking required measurements on patients, consulting with physicians and other therapists in planning and delivering patient treatmen
