We are seeking a compassionate and driven Assistant Administrator to join our collaborative, mission-focused team at English Oaks Convalescent and Rehabilitation Hospital, a Generations Healthcare facility.

Position Overview:

  • Assist in overseeing daily operations and departmental functions.
  • Support the development and implementation of facility policies and procedures.
  • Participate in key committees (QA, Safety, Infection Control) in the Administrator’s absence.
  • Collaborate with department heads to promote teamwork and service excellence.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Manage staffing, personnel performance, and staff development initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison among residents, families, staff, and external partners.
  • Represent the facility during surveys, inspections, and audits.
  • Uphold resident rights, safety, confidentiality, and quality of care. 

Education & Experience:

  • Proven leadership and administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Solid understanding of long-term care regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Commitment to high-quality care and professional development.
  • Associate’s degree in business or health administration preferred.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff, families, and regulatory bodies.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Professional, tactful, and capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
