About the Role
It is the responsibility of every supervisor to ensure that safe and healthy work conditions are maintained.
It is the responsibility of every supervisor to attend the monthly safety training and train all their associates each month on the related topic.
Supervisors must perform safety inspections, safety talks and be involved in accident investigations. They must correct unsafe acts or conditions, correct or comment on health and safety performance, and conduct performance appraisals ensuring worker’s safety performance.
Your Responsibilities
The supervisor has responsibility of assigned shift and area for all aspects of operation including but not limited to:
- Maintaining production standards to ensure parts are produced to schedule, assure that Drive’s and Customers’ quality standards are being met,
- Proper scheduling of employees, disciplining of employees, being involved in the hiring and termination of employees,
- Ensure communication on and between shifts, upholding 5S standards,
- Enforce safety rules and regulations, ensure all employees are instructed in their work procedures,
- Interact with the Quality team to assure only quality parts are produced and released for shipment.
Who we are looking for
- Must have an Associates degree or completed 2 years of college towards a Bachelor’s degree program.
- One year of relevant full-time experience required.
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills and experience which includes but is not limited to, providing direction, assisting employees with questions/concerns, providing positive and constructive feedback, training, coaching and discipling employees.
Your preferred qualifications
- Technical Apprenticeship with Journeyman Card preferred.
- Prior metal-working and automated assembly experience a plus.

Pay range: $65,000 - $85,000
