The Aftermarket and Sustainment Engineering Technology team is looking for Project Engineers to lead the development of new technologies for inspection and repair of Commercial and Military Engine parts. The Technology team has projects in Robotics, Blade repair, Crack detection, Advanced Coating methods, and Additive technologies. Project Engineers will work with subject matter experts, aftermarket shops. We are advancing technologies, methods and equipment to keep our Aftermarket and Sustainment at the leading edge.
Responsibilities:
Lead Technology IPTs to meet technical and customer requirements
Plan, manage, and report out project budgets and schedules
Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts
Work with technical leads to support testing and validation needs
Support the repair business units and/or engine centers in deployment of the technologies Role would work on multiple funded projects and in development of plans for future Projects.
10% Travel is Anticipated
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality
10+ years of engineering experience or 7+ years with an advanced degree
Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess U.S citizenship

Cost and schedule management experience
Microsoft Project and MS Excel proficiency
Results-oriented with good problem-solving skills
Possess excellent judgement and professional maturity
Analytical skills
Participation in process improvement efforts
Familiar with TRL and MRL requirements
Training in Risk Based Decision Making

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
