We are seeking an experienced IBM iSeries (AS400) Systems Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the IBM iSeries architecture, including its hardware and software components, and will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our AS400 systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability, security, and efficient operation of our business-critical systems.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with IBM iSeries (AS400) systems.
• Proficiency in RPG IV, ILE RPG, and CL programming.
• Experience with DB2 database administration and management.
• Strong understanding of system administration and performance tuning.
• Experience with modernization of legacy systems and cross-platform integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies.
