As an ARPA-H (Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health) Scientist, Engineer for the Strategic Technical ARPA-H Talent Support (STATS) Program at Noblis, you will be part of our Health Solutions account team, where you will leverage your science and/or engineering in design strategy, Human Centered Design (HCD), design thinking, service design, and product design for Task Order research and development (R&D) programs throughout their lifecycle, directly supporting Federal PM and the ARPA-H leaders to deliver transformative, sustainable, and equitable health solutions for the Nation.
This is an opportunity for someone with significant government contracting experience in R&D and ARPA settings to work with an exceptionally talented and high-performing team on challenging and cutting-edge healthcare projects. Role Description:
Noblis is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Scientist, Engineer (ITDI) to join our team at ARPA-H (Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health).
As an ARPA-H Scientist, Engineer (ITDI), you will be responsible for providing scientific and/or engineering support to program managers. This role involves providing Human Centered Design (HCD) expertise to create visualizations that communicate roadmaps, architectural diagrams, business process flows and system documentation diagrams.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provides Human Centered Design expertise to create visualizations that communicate roadmaps, architectural diagrams, business process flows and system documentation diagrams.
- The Scientist / Engineer will plan and develop R&D projects, concerned with unique or controversial problems which have an important effect on major programs.
- Evaluating the feasibility of technical approaches to problems.
- Reviewing health research-related technical reports,
- Developing and evaluating scientific capability development strategies.
- Monitoring R&D projects and technical performance against goals.
- Developing test and evaluation methodologies.
- Assessing the efficacy, safety, cost lifecycle costs of proposed or realized scientific solutions.
- Developing scientific program status reports, PowerPoint briefings, and read-ahead materials.
- Developing, monitoring, and maintaining a central repository of R&D efforts.
- Organizing, coordinating, and participating in meetings, discussions, and seminars on ARPA-H-related topics,
- Communicating scientific findings to technical and non-technical audiences as needed
- Providing support to Portfolio and Program Managers in their continued engagement with ARPA-H customers.
- Performing routine tasks including, but not limited to, scheduling, writing internal memos, maintaining and updating Program Management records, filing, intranet website maintenance, preparing and reviewing presentations, records maintenance, and coordinating daily operations of the assigned program.
