As a Security Professional - Armed Government Driver in Bayboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This armed and driving post requires conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding as appropriate to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and helping to deter potential security-related incidents.
- Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas as required by site policies.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, law enforcement, and emergency responders when necessary.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, and observations during each shift.
- Remain alert and aware of surroundings, adapting to changing environments and conditions specific to government facilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- At least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
