About the role

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced Architect who is passionate about creating high-quality software and has a strong background in back-end development. The role includes leading new feature development, planning feature migrations, and creating APIs, particularly within a Java environment utilizing Spring Boot 2.x and developing microservices in a containerized setting.

Requirements

Proficient in back-end development with Java and Spring Boot 2.x.
Experience in developing microservices in containerized environments, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with a variety of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, SNS, SQS, and AWS Lambda with NodeJS or Python.
Demonstrable experience working with teams on large projects.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Experience as a “trusted advisor” to teams within an organization.
Solid experience across both Web & Mobile platforms.
Understanding of Agile software development and DevOps practices.
Ability to work closely with QA teams to optimize code.
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Proactive, with initiative and strong logical thinking.
Proficiency in diverse technologies, architectural principles, and concepts.
Experience working in highly regulated environments.
A love for learning and staying current with evolving software technologies.
Willingness to share knowledge and actively engage in the community.
Availability to overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours daily.
Reliable high-speed internet access.
