Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Application Support Business Analyst with experience in the Media/Cable domain. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, support production applications, gather and document requirements, and ensure smooth application operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide application development and production support within a media technology environment.
Organize and lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
Accurately document business and functional requirements.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues within defined SLAs.
Coordinate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and enhancements.
Support media workflows and related applications.
Manage multiple tasks and drive deliverables to completion under tight deadlines.
Ensure transparent communication and collaboration across teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of IT experience in application development/support.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new applications and concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience with XML and/or JSON.
Conceptual understanding of Cloud technologies (preferably AWS storage and services).
Ability to write and execute database queries (Oracle, SQL Server).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong team collaboration skills with a proactive attitude.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
