Application Developer / Architect (Cloud) - 4372

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

• Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture.
• Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud.
• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.
• Documentation and presentation of lessons learned from different cloud services and architectural patterns to technical teams in the European institutions.
• Developing, validating and executing automation for setting up cloud account security.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Very good knowledge of serverless architectures.
• Good knowledge of cloud-native serverless databases, like CosmosDb.
• Good knowledge of Infrastructure and Platform as a Service (IaaS and PaaS) on Azure and AWS.
• Ability to give technical presentations
• Ability to apply high quality standards
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in cloud migrations
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences, in English
• Analysis and problem-solving skills
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents, in English
• Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE

• At least 3 years of specific expertise in Azure and AWS combined

CERTIFICATIONS & STANDARDS:

• At least 2 Certifications of Associate level or above on AWS or Azure.
• A certification of Expert level will be a considerable advantage.

Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:

• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
• Excellent Team Player
• High degree of discretion and integrity
