HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the Appian platform
• Lead a small team of developers
• Responsible for technical design
• Implement configuration/customization of the Appian application and facilitate the rollout of new modules and configure Application UI and workflow
• Provide Appian architecture advisory support services including but not limited to architectural design reviews, code, roadmap design and prioritization, platform expertise, expert program/project guidance and optimization planning
• Appian platform deployments and upgrades
• Maintaining required information security controls for the platform
• Leading platform design sessions, performing design reviews, familiarity with architect frameworks, and publishing platform standards and design models

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Technical Training, Certification(s), Degree, and 8+ years of relevant experience for Senior Advisor level and 5+ years for Advisor level, or equivalent years of experience
• Demonstrated experience in delivering high value solutions from your customer’s perspective with 5+ years of direct experience with Appian platform strategy, design, and operational execution for Senior Advisor level and 3+ years for Advisor level
• Senior Advisor level: Experience leading a team of developers
• JavaScript (or similar languages) experience
• Flexibility to support issues or planned activities after hours, weekends and holidays as needed
• 3 year US residency requirement to support FDA customer

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Java development, database fundamentals, indexing/foreign/primary key, ER diagrams, etc.
• FDA experience
• Preferred local to DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area
• Senior Advisor level: Appian certification

The likely salary range for this position is $95,722 - $177,632. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
