As part of Peacock’s Technical Operations and Financial Optimization team, your mission is to deliver the best in OTT/TV entertainment service at a global scale. The Analyst of Technical Operations and Financial Optimization will support the entire Site Reliability and Operations team through their organization and business acumen.

A strong candidate will have solid organizational skills, a strong desire to learn as well as be able to work independently on tasks while keeping the team updated to ensure the organization is moving forward.  A strong and proven track record in developing and improving processes is ideal.

High-level responsibilities include improving existing processes, managing vendor relationships, FinOps practices and creating business cases.  Our team is heavily involved in problem solving, our work is integral to our department as we manage the budget by ensuring our team has the financials they need to continue to deliver on our amazing products.

In this role you will need to be effective at working independently and exhibit strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work across functional areas and effectively engaging in multiple project efforts concurrently.   This role needs someone who possess strong analytical, planning and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands. The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, strategic thinker that is detail oriented and a problem solver.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Improve, execute and communicate significant analyses for opportunities across the business​
• Effectively develop business cases to support projects and operations initiatives
• Advance cross-functional process flows and support operations efficiency initiatives
• Work with key stakeholders across functional groups to assist the team in solutioning issues
• Support of day-to-day end user request, issues and questions revolving around supported systems
• Provide complex analytical support to project-based work
• Analyzing cloud data and make recommendations to improve
• Present suggestions for cloud optimizations
• Create and present business cases
• Ability to effectively manage various priorities and quickly changing tasks
• Improve and update processes
• Provide status updates on priorities
• Contribute to project communication, including regular status meetings with internal and external project teams
• Ensure timeliness of projects
• Lead the analysis and reconciliation of data and report projects
• Develop cross-functional process flows and definitions to support strategic operations initiatives and automation
• Perform management and administration functions

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ year of relevant work experience in operations or finance driving
