VERSANT, Comcast Corporation’s (NASDAQ: CMCSA) planned spin-off, will be a leading independent publicly traded media company comprised of most of NBCUniversal’s cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions.
Position Summary:
The Analyst, Service Delivery and Leave is responsible for managing and supporting the administration of employee leave programs and resolving complex benefit-related issues. This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, drives operational efficiency, and provides a high level of employee support and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Leave of Absence Administration
- Oversee the administration of leave programs including FMLA, ADA, short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), parental leave, and other company-sponsored leaves.
- Partner with third-party leave administrators and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate leave processing.
- Monitor leave trends and provide insights to leadership for program improvements.
Escalation Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for complex or sensitive benefit-related escalations.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to leave, disability, and other health and welfare benefits.
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, Payroll, and external vendors to ensure resolution and compliance.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure leave programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, HIPAA).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
- Support policy updates and employee communications related to leave and escalation procedures.
Employee Experience & Communication
- Provide guidance and support to employees navigating leave and benefit issues.
- Develop and deliver clear, empathetic communications and educational materials.
- Train HR business partners and managers on leave policies and escalation protocols.
Reporting & Analytics
- Track and analyze leave utilization, escalation trends, and resolution metrics.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for HR leadership and compliance teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on leave management and issue resolution.
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.
