The Summer Employment Opportunity Program (SEOP) provides temporary summer employment opportunities to children, step-children and spouses of Mayo Clinic employees enrolled in a college degree granting program of study, and is intended to help supervisors accommodate employee vacation requests when seasonal work volumes are high.
The candidate for the Analyst Programmer will design, code, test, and deploy a software application used for Autonomic Function Tests. Specifically, a heart rate response to deep breathing and Valsalva maneuver cue will be developed for use on a mobile device, tablet or PC. The candidate will ensure the applications are functional, user-friendly, and secure. This application is needed as the current device used for cueing patients is obsolete and a commercial device does not allow for customizations needed for research studies

To be considered for this SEOP opportunity you must meet the below qualifications. **This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be a child, stepchild, or spouse of a current Mayo Clinic employee.
- Must be returning to college in the fall.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 10 weeks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the program
Additional Qualifications
- SEOP employees should not expect vacation/days-off to be approved during their commitment.
- Previous experience or knowledge of computers and keyboarding, telephone operations and other office equipment desired.
- Must be organized, with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess good human relations skills and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Must be able to accommodate scheduling adjustments, off-shifts, holiday, and weekend work assignments.
